June 6th - July 6th 2009 - Arnhem center is during a whole month the stage for the third Arnhem Mode Biënnale, the largest cultural fashion event in the world. The them for this edition is SHAPE.
More than eighty fashion labels join the event, among which are Lanvin, Raf Simons, Hussein Chalayan, Jil Sander, Rick Owens, Martin Margiela and Viktor & Rolf. Hundred and fifty fashion pieces clearly show the meaning of SHAPE in fashion and why 'shape' is hot in fashion today. An extraordinary exhibit, more exhibitions, lectures, shows and a special magazine, will give every visitor insight in SHAPE (there is also a lot of attention for sustainable fashion issues, see programm on the website of AMB). A broad cultural angle makes this third biënnale an interesting event to visit for all culture and fashion lovers.
